Listening to the pounding waves at dawn around the coast. The rocks are the imprints of my special carved tiles and colors are painted with Chinese pigments.
That was about twenty years ago, a friend introduced me to a young art teacher who was a master of Chinese brush painting. At that time, I was working as a biologist. Art is very remote from me. I enjoy art and admire it, but have never thought of drawing myself. After trying a few lessons, I began to enjoy the process of designing, composing, involved myself with the subjects which i was passionate about. this is like a full meditation while you paint, a serene journey. I strive with the essence of both eastern and western art styles in my Chinese brush paintings and Oil paintings for floral, birds, cranes, animals and landscape art.
