Artist's Description
Splash colors on the Jinho (rice) paper to first create an imaginary scene. Later on and gradually a real image comes to my mind for this flock of cranes flying under the clouds. They fly up and down and around, seem is teasing with the clouds.
About Vina Yang
That was about twenty years ago, a friend introduced me to a young art teacher who was a master of Chinese brush painting. At that time, I was working as a biologist. Art is very remote from me. I enjoy art and admire it, but have never thought of drawing myself. After trying a few lessons, I began to enjoy the process of designing, composing, involved myself with the subjects which i was passionate about. this is like a full meditation while you paint, a serene journey. I strive with the essence of both eastern and western art styles in my Chinese brush paintings and Oil paintings for floral, birds, cranes, animals and landscape art.
